About Me

I am a highly skilled and experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in product development, manufacturing processes, and project management. I have expertise in utilizing a wide range of software tools, including CATIA V5, Solidworks, ANSYS, PTC Creo Parametric, PTC Windchill, Siemens NX, Mastercam, AutoCAD, ABAQUS, C, C++, MATLAB, Minitab, SAP, and Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

In my current role as a Manufacturing Engineer at Abbott Laboratories, I have been responsible for leading New Product Integration (NPI) projects for multiple models and products, ensuring compliance with EU-MDR regulations. I have successfully managed project plans, coordinated with stakeholders, and optimized manufacturing processes for seamless product integration. Additionally, I have been involved in developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation, authoring test method validations, and overseeing the engineering change management process.

During my tenure as a Mechanical Engineer at Arizona State University, I gained valuable experience in product design and development. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop new products, utilizing CAD software to create detailed models and technical drawings. I conducted engineering analysis and simulation to evaluate product performance and worked closely with manufacturing engineers to optimize designs for efficient production. Additionally, I managed tasks and timelines within new product development projects and prepared technical documentation.

In my previous role at Shrinivas Engineering, I played a key role in creating innovative concepts and utilizing CATIA V5 and Mastercam to optimize manufacturing processes. I provided technical support, implemented Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods, and actively participated in product design and development teams. I also contributed to process improvements, authored manufacturing routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs), and achieved notable reductions in cycle times through the implementation of Dynamic Motion Technology.

During my internship at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, I demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude by leading vehicle design engineering teams. I was involved in the design, fabrication, and optimization of a racing go-kart, incorporating FEA test methods and adhering to Critical to Quality (CTQ) specifications. I also coordinated sourcing activities, established cost-efficient milestones, and reviewed production costs and schedules.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. I have also published research papers in the field of aerospace engineering.

With my comprehensive technical proficiencies, hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, and strong project management skills, I am committed to delivering high-quality results and driving continuous improvement in product development and manufacturing processes.
